MĀORI LANGUAGE PROGRAM

The Maori classes are hosted by Te Kopu O Te Reo and are perfect for beginners to those wanting to brush up on their knowledge of Te Reo.

 

The lessons are taught in a fun, encouraging and interactive environment that strongly represents the language and culture of the indigenous people of New Zealand. Song, dance and traditional prayers, ceremonial topics and protocols are also taught as part of the curriculum. A small fee applies.

THE AU SINASINA SAMOAN SENIORS

The Au Sinasina Seniors encourages and uplifts seniors to share creative skills through workshops and craft projects. The group often invite a guest speaker along to discuss topical issues, creating a platform for our seniors to share their considerable experience and knowledge.

 

But at the heart of this program is fun, entertainment, and sharing of the Samoan culture to the people of our local community.
